New Stock!

We have now received all the new stock and we are programming it into the site's store right now. This includes two new board graphics (now available in 8's), two new tee designs and hoodies. I could show you pictures right now - but i'm going to! Everyone will have to wait until the online store is open!

Sounds familiar? Online store?! It is well on its way and, although only being a month late, it may finally be launched this week. Shits gunna' get crazy...

25th been and gone...

Sorry to disappoint guys, but the 25th has obviously been and gone now... We are still set for all the previously mentioned gear, its just a case of waiting for it to arrive and for the Online Shop to open! I wont give another date, but it will be very soon!

New Tee and Deck Announcement!

There have been a few comments around the site asking about new product. I can confirm that all our new stock should be here in the next 2 weeks. Expect to see it on the site at some point around the 25th...

The new range is not huge, but will see 2 new tee's, and 2 new decks, (available in 7.5", 7.625", 7.75", 8"). And the added bonus of some zip-up hoods. But these are going to be really limited! Depending on demand, they may be available on the site straight away - if not, soon as possible!

I will be sure to give everyone all the details through a newsletter as soon as the gear is in.

Get amped! Out.

Unit 19 Mini-Ramp

I received an email from a guy called Craig who said that they had an indoor, privately owned mini-ramp, just a few miles down the road from us and though we should go check it out. Sounded a little too good to be true, what with all the shit weather recently, so we got down there as soon as possible. Read more...

Lack of Updates

So i just thought that i should probably let everyone know why we have been slackin' a bit with the reviews, updates and what-not!

Its not like we have all been doing nothing... honest! Basically, we have confirmed that there IS going to be a new mini-range of product launched in Jan '08 in conjunction with our online store. I have been really busy sorting things out with that, while everyone else has been really busy trying to find somewhere dry to skate! The weather has been pretty dire, it gets dark at like mid-day or something and the extreme cold does not help any skater loosen up! A few evening sessions have gone down at Emsworth, mainly due to the lighing. One of which resulted in the Emsworth section/review.

Dec 8th was the X-fire Jam session at BaySixty6, London - Anyone who was anyone was there! I was'nt.. I did however get Marcus to take a trip down there and have a shred. He didnt need much persuading - jumped at the chance. He didnt enter any of the big comps, just admired the amount of talent all in one place. 'Sick' was how he described it. Well done Marcus.

We are off to Crawley Skatepark today. Some of the guys have already been down there and said its pretty crazy, so expect a review in the next few days.

I think that brings you up do date with most stuff, apologies for the neglect and keep checking this space...

Word.

Emsworth Skatepark Review

Emsworth Skatepark

Emsworth is about a 20 min drive, tops from our home turf - a couple of miles past Havant, Hampshire. They had the skatepark re-vamped (i think) in 2005 with a total budget of £90,000. To be brutally honest, i am sure they could have done a lot more with that money than what they came out with! Read more...

Antsey Skatepark

There is not really much that can be said about this park. We checked it out on our way to Farnbrough to find that it was pretty crap. Read more or check out the Photo Gallery...

Two New Videos & BaySixty6 Review

This skatepark needs no introduction. Everyone has skated this park and if you haven’t then you should! Right now!

When anyone mentions a session there I immediately visualise the perfect mini-ramp. It’s long but not too long, whippy but not too whippy and the coping is subtle but not too subtle. It’s world class. Literally. We met some Israelis in Barcelona a few years ago and they were as stoked on it as I am. Read more...

Welcome to Phase Three

First of all, you will probably notice the extra tabs across the top. The ‘Galleries’ tab that used to be there has now been broken down into ‘Videos’ and ‘Photos’ to make your browsing easier.

We now have the team page, which officially welcomes our first team rider, Marcus Payne. There is a short interview with him and a pretty ill video on there too, so be sure to check that out.

You will also notice the commenting system that we have introduced. This basically allows you to comment on pretty much any part of the website, Pictures, videos, articles. Its easy enough to do, just make sure you are signed in and then type in the box labelled ‘comments’. If your not already signed up to the site, its easy to do... only takes a few seconds.

We have also now decided to scrap the phase breakdown and just introduce any new elements as and when. This means that there should be new features on the site more often. If you are subscribed to the site/newsletter, you will receive an email informing you of major progression and anything else we feel you need to know.

Lastly, you are able to edit your profiles now. Change your password, profile pictures, ect.

Happy viewing!

New Park Review - Farnbourogh Skatepark

One of the best features of this park is that its floodlit till 10pm every night and its free! Unfortunately, due to its positioning, and the fact is that this park has everything there is to offer, it does get pretty crowded! There are a lot of BMX’ers, a lot of bladers and a lot of other skaters all trying to get on the same ramps! Read more...

Welcome to Phase Two

Alex Borton

Phase Two has arrived! Just as planned, we have added a few new features that you should notice.

Firstly, you will see some new tabs up the top. We have added our Words feature which includes articles and reviews. With this launch we have included a review of Hayling Skatepark, Kings Park Skatepark and Verwood’s Potteren Bowl. Most park reviews will come with pictures and video footage edited for your entertainment!

This brings me to our next main development, the Galleries feature. This includes all the photos and videos currently available on the site. So make sure you check ‘em all out.

With these new features added, the content of the site will start steadily increasing as the weeks progress. So be sure to keep coming back and checking stuff out!

In the next coming phases, as mentioned on the launch of the site, we'll be introducing more and more features as well as mountains of content -- One of the features I’m most looking forward to is when we start allowing you to upload your own videos and photos, edit with your profiles and leave comments all over the site! Excited?! I am… think i just peed a little.

Anyway, stop reading this and have a look around the site, there is plenty of new content for you to look at!
