Chichester Multi-story Review

Chichester Multi-story Review

When the nights draw in and the winter comes it really limits the spots you can skate, especially when you have to hold down a day job before going out. The weather in sunny old England does not help heaps either.

Chi Multi is one of those places where you can find refuge! Ok, its not an indoor park or private Mini-ramp, but it does provide shelter from the wind and rain and offers manual pads and a fairly decent surface to skate and its free. Most people from the Chichester/Portsmouth area know about the Multi-story, but its so big that its never crowded, nor are there many cars there in the evening. You will occasionally be moved on by the police, or threatened to have your boards and camera equipment confiscated, but mostly its ok. The real danger is of all the posers you get down there, doing hand-break turns through the pillars in their tuned-up Rover 75’s with spoilers the size of my house on them.

We went down a couple of evenings a night for about a month to gather up the footy for this section. We had a little help from Dobbo who provided the mini-rail for everyone to session – cheers Dobbo.

This edit sees the introduction of Adam Keyes. You will no doubt be hearing more about this guy in the not so distant future, so check out his super-tech steez. Marcus shredding as usual. Check it...
